P.A.C.E.’s ART PATROL is a group of artists who are comfortable painting in public spaces and events.
This
unique group brings to life an area. Businesses get exposure by having
customers attracted to an artist by entering their storefront. Most business
see an increase in customer traffic on days the
Art Patrol is painting near by.
This is a win-win for both business and artist. Artists get exposure to various groups of people, and get feedback on their work and even some sales. Businesses get potential customers staying longer in their stores (especially if they add an artist’s work inside to which and artist can direct them to see more.)

Created and coordinated by local Dallas Texas artists: Jim Frederick and Billy Miller, P.A.C.E.’s Art Patrol is a grassroots organization trying to give local artists who are comfortable painting in public venues to reach the public. Not only are these artists interested in sharing their art and talent, but they are wanting to show those who visit Texas that we have a vibrant and thriving arts scene that is supportive of local emerging artists. P.A.C.E. was created by Jim & Billy when they met and realized that by thinking and working positively - positive change can happen.
The Art
Patrol has painted in various parts of the community. They are comfortable
painting outdoors and indoors at special events.
Some areas that have used our
services are the businesses at Snider Plaza and the West Village. Special
events - Toast to Life 2005 and Art Rage Us 2, and Fort Worth’s Gallery Night.
Our Mission
Our goal is to bring more
visibility to art and artists in Texas and creating a more vibrant
community.
We Take Care
Our artists take care in their work area, bringing their own easels, drop
clothes and artwork, chairs, materials in exchange for the ability to show &
sell their artwork in high traffic areas. They are pleasant and enjoy talking
with the public about their art.
